Eliza Braden is an associate professor of elementary education at the University of South Carolina, where she focuses on culturally responsive and equitable literacy instruction. She conducts professional development for educators and has published widely in these areas, including co‑authoring Revolutionary Love: Creating a Culturally Inclusive Literacy Classroom, a book that offers research‑based practices to affirm and celebrate students’ identities, languages, and cultures.
