Ellen Lewis

Ellen Lewis, M.Ed., is a literacy consultant and reading teacher with more than three decades of literacy teaching experience. Scholastic describes her as a Reading Recovery teacher and the author of The Next Step Forward in Guided Reading Study Guide and several children’s books; she also coauthored The Next Step Forward in Reading Intervention: The RISE Framework with Jan Richardson.
