Elliott Seif

Elliott Seif, Ph.D., is an educational consultant and author of Teaching for Lifelong Learning: How to Prepare Students for a Changing World (Solution Tree Press, 2021). He is a retired secondary school teacher, professor of education, and director of curriculum and instruction, and has been involved in the ASCD Understanding by Design (UbD) cadre and faculty.

Based in the Philadelphia area, Seif works with schools and educators on curriculum, instruction, assessment, and lifelong learning, and shares resources and commentary on his website lifelonglearninged.org. His work focuses on helping teachers develop students as curious explorers, independent thinkers, and lifelong learners who are prepared for a rapidly changing world.
