Eric Litwin is a #1 New York Times best‑selling author, storyteller, and musician known for integrating early literacy and music in his work. He is the original author of the first four Pete the Cat picture books—Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes, Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons, and Pete the Cat Saves Christmas—as well as the author of the The Nuts series, Groovy Joe, and The Poop Song. His books have sold millions of copies worldwide, been translated into at least 17 languages, and have received numerous literacy awards, including a Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor.
