Eric Milou

Eric Milou is a professor of mathematics at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where he has taught since the late 1990s. He holds an Ed.D. in mathematics education from Temple University, an M.A. in mathematics from West Chester University, and a B.A. in mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College. Milou’s work focuses on K–12 mathematics curriculum and instruction, with particular interest in technology use and mathematical modeling in grades 6–12.

He is the co-author of Invigorating High School Math: Practical Guidance for Long-Overdue Transformation with Steven Leinwand, as well as a co-author of Daily Routines to Jump Start Math Class and several K–12 mathematics programs, including digits, enVision Math Grades 6–8, and enVision Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II (A|G|A). Milou has served as president of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New Jersey and on the Board of Directors of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, and he received the Max Sobel Outstanding Mathematics Educator Award from AMTNJ in 2009.
