Erica Woolway

Erica Woolway is the President and Chief Academic Officer of Teach Like a Champion and a longtime education leader who has worked in teaching and school leadership roles at Uncommon Schools and Teach For America. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Duke University, an Ed.M. in School Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an M.A. in School Leadership from National Louis University.

Woolway is a coauthor of Practice Perfect: 42 Rules for Getting Better at Getting Better, Reading Reconsidered: A Practical Guide to Rigorous Literacy Instruction, Teach Like a Champion Field Guide 3.0: A Practical Resource to Make the 63 Techniques Your Own, and The Teach Like a Champion Guide to the Science of Reading: Translating Research to Reignite Joy and Meaning in the Classroom. Teach Like a Champion notes that she has trained thousands of teachers and school leaders across the country and around the world.
