Erin Lehmann

Erin Lehmann, EdD, is an assistant professor of educational leadership at the University of South Dakota, where she serves as Superintendent Program Coordinator in the School of Education. She has more than 20 years of PK–12 experience as a teacher, mathematics teacher, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, and elementary principal at a Title I school. Lehmann holds a B.A. in elementary education, an M.A. in curriculum and instruction, an Ed.S. in educational leadership, and an Ed.D. in educational administration/leadership, all from the University of South Dakota.

Lehmann is coauthor of Leading Educator Wellness: Six Critical Actions to Support All Staff, written with Bill Barnes and published by Solution Tree, which provides a framework and practical strategies for school leaders to support educator wellness and staff well-being. In addition to her university role, she is described as an author, leader, and facilitator who advocates for mathematics education, high levels of learning for all students, and systems that promote educator wellness.
