Eva Moskowitz

Eva Moskowitz is the founder and CEO of Success Academy Charter Schools, a New York City charter school network. She earned a PhD in American history from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and she is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School. She was also a former New York City Council member and chair of the council’s education committee.

Moskowitz is the author of In Therapy We Trust and The Education of Eva Moskowitz, and she co-authored Mission Possible: How the Secrets of the Success Academies Can Work in Any School with Arin Lavinia. Her work has focused on education reform and on the Success Academy model of school design and instruction.
