Evan A. Robb

Evan A. Robb is an educational leader, author, and TEDx speaker with more than twenty years of experience as a building-level principal in Virginia. He has served as principal of Johnson-Williams Middle School in Berryville, Virginia, and previously worked as an English teacher, department chair, assistant principal, and junior high school principal. He has been recognized with the Horace Mann Educator of the Year Award and The Teacher and The Admin Kids First Educator Award, and has served on the National Council of Teachers of English Commission on Reading’s national board.

Robb is the author of several books on school leadership, including The Ten-Minute Principal: Free Up Your Time to Focus on Leadership and Aiming High: Leadership Actions to Increase Learning Gains, both published by Corwin. His earlier works include The Principal’s Leadership Sourcebook: Practices, Tools, and Strategies for Building a Thriving School Community and, with Laura Robb, TeamMakers: Positively Impacting the Lives of Children through District-Wide Dreaming, Collaborating, and Change and A School Full of Readers. He also writes and speaks frequently on leadership, culture, change, and literacy, and has been recognized as one of the “10 most inspiring global thought leaders” in education.
