Garnet Hillman

Garnet Hillman is an educational consultant, author, and former educator based in Illinois. She taught Spanish at Lockport Township High School, served as an instructional coach at Caruso Middle School, and has consulted with schools on instruction, assessment, grading, and student motivation. Hillman holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Ohio University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Aurora University.

Her published works include Standards-Based Learning in Action, co-authored with Tom Schimmer and Mandy Stalets; Coaching Your Classroom, co-authored with Mandy Stalets; The Grade Cleanse, co-authored with Danny Hill; and Assessment as a Catalyst for Learning, co-authored with Mandy Stalets.
