Geri Parscale
Geri Parscale is a senior consultant based in the Kansas City, Missouri area who specializes in helping schools develop proactive systems to support students experiencing trauma and crisis. Drawing on extensive experience in education and crisis response, she works with school districts and educators to build structures, tools, and protocols that enable schools to shift from reactive to proactive approaches to children’s trauma.
Parscale is the coauthor of Navigating the Unexpected: A School Leader’s Guide for Trauma-Response Teams, published by Solution Tree Press in 2024, which provides a practical framework for designing and implementing Dynamic Problem-Solving Teams (DPST) and trauma-response systems in schools. In addition to authoring the book, she speaks and consults nationally on trauma-informed crisis navigation, communication, and systems design to help school leaders answer the critical question, “Are you ready?” when it comes to supporting students through crises and traumatic events.
