Gina Ruffcorn is a veteran fifth-grade teacher at West Harrison Community School in Mondamin, Iowa, where she has taught elementary students for many years in a self-contained classroom setting. She is the author of Our Class, Our Voice: Creating Choice and Amplifying Autonomy in the Elementary & Middle School Classroom, a book that reflects her commitment to student voice, classroom choice, and empowering learners through autonomy.
Ruffcorn is known for her innovative use of educational technology and global collaboration, including Mystery Skype and connected Kahoot! sessions, and has been recognized as a Kahoot! ambassador and featured contributor on multiple education platforms.
