Graham Neuhaus

Graham F. Neuhaus, Ph.D., is a faculty member in the Department of Social Sciences (Psychology) at the University of Houston–Downtown, where she teaches, mentors students, and conducts research in the areas of automaticity and reading fluency. She holds the Ph.D. degree and serves as an adjunct professor in psychology at UH–Downtown.

Neuhaus is a contributing author to Multisensory Teaching of Basic Language Skills, including co‑authoring the chapter “Alphabet Knowledge: Letter Recognition, Naming, and Sequencing” in the fourth edition and related earlier editions. Her work in this text focuses on evidence‑based, multisensory approaches to developing foundational literacy skills, particularly alphabet knowledge and rapid naming processes.
