Héctor Ruiz Martín

Héctor Ruiz Martín is a Spanish biologist, researcher, and science communicator specializing in cognitive psychology of memory and learning and its application in educational contexts. He is the director of the International Science Teaching Foundation, and his scientific career has included work in research centers in the United States such as the University of Washington and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California. He has taught at both secondary school and university levels and works as an educational advisor, focusing on evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.

Ruiz Martín is the author of How Do We Learn?
