Heather L. Anderson

Heather L. Anderson has taught at both the elementary and high school levels and currently teaches English and higher-level Spanish at Health Sciences High and Middle College, a charter school in San Diego. According to publisher and bookseller listings, she earned an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from San Diego State University, is BCLAD certified, and has experience in staff development, presenting nationally and internationally, and consulting with schools on gradual release of responsibility, differentiated instruction, close reading, and collaborative grouping.

Anderson is a coauthor of Text-Dependent Questions, Grades K-5: Pathways to Close and Critical Reading and Text-Dependent Questions, Grades 6-12: Pathways to Close and Critical Reading, both published by Corwin Literacy.
