Hideo Nitta

Hideo Nitta, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Physics at Tokyo Gakugei University. He earned his doctorate from Waseda University’s Graduate School of Science and Engineering in 1987, specializing in theoretical physics and physics education. His research and writing include quantum dynamics and radiation physics, and he has a strong interest in physics education. He is also a member of the International Commission on Physics Education, part of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics.

Nitta is the author of The Manga Guide to Physics and co-author of The Manga Guide to Relativity, written with Masafumi Yamamoto and illustrated by Keita Takatsu, in collaboration with Trend-Pro Co., Ltd.
