Horacio Sanchez is president and CEO of Resiliency Inc. and an educational consultant and national speaker focused on helping schools apply neuroscience to improve educational outcomes. He is recognized as one of the nation’s leading authorities on resiliency and applied neuroscience, with work centered on the effects of poverty, school climate, brain-based instruction, and implicit bias.

Sanchez is the author of The Poverty Problem: How Education Can Promote Resilience and Counter Poverty’s Impact on Brain Development and Functioning (2021), and he has also authored The Education Revolution, A Brain-Based Approach to Closing the Achievement Gap, and related education titles.
