Imy Wax

Imy F. Wax, M.S., is a psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Board-Certified Counselor, Certified Educational Planner, and therapeutic and educational consultant. She is the founder and president of The Aspire Group, which provides educational and therapeutic consulting services to children, adolescents, and adults. Wax has worked with families for more than 30 years and regularly visits schools, colleges, residential programs, and other postsecondary options in the United States and internationally.

Wax co-authored The K&W Guide to Colleges for Students with Learning Differences, first published in 1991 and now in its 16th edition. The guide was developed with college counselor Marybeth Kravets and profiles colleges offering programs, services, and accommodations for students with learning differences.
