Ivan Charner is the Director of the FHI 360 National Institute for Work and Learning and has nearly 40 years of experience in education and workforce development, including work on educational policy, teacher education and professional development, college and career readiness, school reform, and system change. He has written extensively on teacher preparation, youth transition from school to career, instructional coaching, career and technical education, and school-business partnerships, and he is a coauthor of Instructional Coaching in Action: An Integrated Approach That Transforms Thinking, Practice, and Schools.
