Jadi Miller
Jadi Miller, EdD, is the director of assessment for Elkhorn Public Schools in Elkhorn, Nebraska, and an experienced educator who has served as a teacher and administrator at the elementary, secondary, and district levels. She previously served as principal of two elementary schools identified as low performing, leading efforts to build teacher capacity and improve student achievement; both schools later received awards for school improvement. Miller has also worked extensively with teachers, schools, and districts to implement standards-based curriculum, instruction, and assessment, as well as effective collaborative practices, and has designed and delivered ongoing, job-embedded professional development to support school and district improvement.
Miller is a coauthor of Concise Answers to Frequently Asked Questions About Assessment and Grading (Solution Tree), alongside Nicole Dimich, Cassandra Erkens, Tom Schimmer, and Katie White. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Kansas and both a master’s degree and doctoral degree in educational administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
