Jamie Beaton

Jamie Beaton is a New Zealand entrepreneur, educator, and author of Accepted! Secrets to Gaining Admission to the World’s Top Universities, a USA Today national bestseller. He is the co‑founder and CEO of Crimson Education, a global college admissions consultancy, and has also founded Crimson Global Academy. Beaton applied to 25 of the world’s leading universities while still in high school and received offers from all of them, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Cambridge, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Beaton graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with degrees in applied mathematics and economics, completing both a bachelor’s and a master’s in three years. He later earned an MBA and an MA in Education from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He has also studied as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford and as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, and has undertaken further graduate study at institutions including Yale Law School and the University of Pennsylvania.
