Janee Trasler

Janee Trasler is an author-illustrator of children’s books based in Texas. She has written and illustrated the Frog and Dog series for Scholastic’s Acorn line, including Hog on a Log, and has also created the Figgy & Boone series. Sources describe her as a writer and illustrator who makes books, songs, and puppets for kids, and note that she won the 2020 National Cartoonists Society award for Best Book Illustration.

Trasler has also published the Chickies books with HarperCollins and is credited with a wide range of children’s titles, with one source describing her as the author-illustrator of nearly twenty books for children.
