Janet Wozniak

Janet R. Wozniak, MD, is an associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard College, received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, and completed adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry training at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her clinical and research work focuses on the characteristics, course, and treatment of pediatric bipolar disorder.

Wozniak is the co-author, with psychiatric nurse Mary Ann McDonnell, of Positive Parenting for Bipolar Kids, a guide for families and professionals addressing childhood-onset bipolar disorder. She is also associated with Is Your Child Bipolar?, published by Bantam Books in 2008.
