Jasminne Paulino is a Spanish teacher and author whose debut middle-grade novel-in-verse, The Extraordinary Orbit of Alex Ramirez, was published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers on June 3, 2025. She holds an MFA in Writing for Young People (also described as Creative Writing for Young People) from Lesley University.
Paulino has participated in writing workshops and mentorships with Highlights and Las Musas, and her work centers young readers, including Latino and neurodivergent perspectives. The Extraordinary Orbit of Alex Ramirez is her debut book, and it is also available in Spanish as La extraordinaria órbita de Alex Ramirez.
