Jayme Linton
Dr. Jayme Linton is an education projects specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity, where she supports strategic planning and professional learning for educators worldwide. She is the author of The Blended Learning Blueprint for Elementary Teachers (Corwin, 2018), a practical guide for K–5 teachers implementing blended and personalized learning. Her prior roles include assistant professor of education at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, as well as instructional technology facilitator, staff development coordinator, instructional coach, and elementary teacher.
Linton’s professional work and research focus on online and blended learning, preparation and support for online instructors, blended and personalized learning for K–12 students, and innovative professional learning models such as edcamps. She has designed and led numerous workshops and webinars on blended learning, classroom environments that support student agency, and teaching simultaneously face-to-face and online, including long-standing work as an expert educator and presenter with SimpleK12.
