Jeff Perrotti

Jeff Perrotti, M.A., C.A.S., is the founding director of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Safe Schools Program for LGBTQ students. He has led workshops on sexual orientation, gender identity, bullying, and school climate for educators, administrators, families, and students, and helped develop Massachusetts’ Guidance on Gender Identity.

Perrotti is the co-author, with Kim Westheimer, of When the Drama Club Is Not Enough: Lessons from the Safe Schools Program for Gay and Lesbian Students. He has also taught and advised students at Harvard University, where he received awards for excellence in teaching.
