Jen Schwanke
Jen Schwanke, EdD, is an educator and school leader with nearly three decades of experience teaching and leading at all grade levels. She has served as a principal in the Dublin City School District in Dublin, Ohio, and currently works as a deputy superintendent in Ohio. In addition to her K–12 roles, she is an instructor in educational administration at The Ohio State University and a frequent presenter at national and state education conferences, including ISTE+ASCD, NAESP, NASSP, and AASA.
Schwanke is the author of Trusted: Trust Pillars, Trust Killers, and the Secret to Successful Schools, Principal Reboot: 8 Ways to Revitalize Your School Leadership, The Principal’s Guide to Conflict Management, and You’re the Principal! Now What? Strategies and Solutions for New School Leaders, along with other ASCD titles and numerous articles in education publications. She co-hosts the Principal Matters podcast and has written for outlets such as Education Week Teacher, Principal, and Principal Navigator.
