Jennifer D Klein

Jennifer D. Klein is an experienced educator, author, and professional learning consultant focused on student-centered, experiential, and globally oriented education. She is the CEO of Principled Learning Strategies, through which she supports educators and school leaders worldwide, and has also served in roles with organizations such as World Leadership School, the Buck Institute for Education (now PBLWorks), TakingITGlobal, and the Institute of International Education. Klein holds a BA and an MA in literature and creative writing from Bard College and the University of Colorado at Boulder, respectively, and taught college and high school English and Spanish for 19 years, including five years in Central America and eleven years in all-girls education.

Klein is the author of Taming the Turbulence in Educational Leadership: Doing Right by Learners Without Losing Your Job (2026), which draws on interviews with 67 educational leaders worldwide to offer practical strategies for equity-focused, student-centered change in the face of resistance.
