Jennifer Deinhart
Jennifer Deinhart is an educational consultant and K–8 mathematics specialist with more than twenty years of experience supporting mathematics teaching and learning in Title I schools. She serves as a mathematics instructional coach at Rose Hill Elementary in Fairfax County Public Schools and previously worked at Mason Crest Elementary in Annandale, Virginia, where the school was recognized as the first national model PLC school to receive the DuFour Award. In her consulting work, she collaborates with schools and districts around the United States to support the PLC at Work® process and strengthen mathematics instruction.
Deinhart is a coauthor of several professional books in the Every Student Can Learn Mathematics and related PLC at Work® series. Her publications include Mathematics Unit Planning in a PLC at Work®, Grades 3–5 (with Sarah Schuhl, Timothy D. Kanold, Matthew R. Larson, and Mona Toncheff) and Mathematics Unit Planning in a PLC at Work®, Grades PreK–2. She is also listed as a contributing author on Mathematics Strategies for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Interventions in a PLC at Work® and Mathematics Instruction and Tasks in a PLC at Work®, Second Edition, further extending her work on collaborative planning and high-quality mathematics lesson design.[6
