Jennifer L. W. Fink is a Wisconsin-based freelance journalist, registered nurse–turned–writer, and mother of four sons. She specializes in education, health, and parenting and has written for outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, FOX News, Parade, Parents, U.S. News & World Report, Cancer Today, Medscape, and numerous other national publications. Her work has also appeared in Parents, American Baby, Pregnancy, Boys’ Life, Ladies’ Home Journal, MyMidwest, Scholastic Instructor, Home Education Magazine, Proto, RN, and Advance for Nurses, and she is a long-time member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
Fink is the author of The Go-To Guide for Classroom Management, a Scholastic professional resource, as well as The First-Time Mom’s Guide to Raising Boys: Practical Advice for Your Son’s Formative Years and Building Boys: Raising Great Guys in a World that Misunderstands Males. She is the founder of BuildingBoys.net, a site and global community for parents of boys, and spent seven years as co-host of the ON BOYS podcast, focused on parenting, teaching, and supporting boys.
