Jennifer Parker
Dr. Jennifer Parker is an educational consultant, instructional coach, and author with more than three decades of experience as an educator, school leader, county consultant, state project lead, and faculty member. She specializes in instructional technology, instructional coaching, professional learning communities (PLCs), and school improvement, frequently facilitating professional learning on high-impact teaching strategies, EdTech and AI implementation, and data-driven continuous improvement. Parker holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science, and a Doctor of Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University, with a focus on curriculum and instruction.
Her work in professional learning communities and coaching is grounded in her dissertation research on PLCs and extensive district- and county-level experience in continuous improvement and instructional technology. Parker is coauthor, with Tesha Ferriby Thomas, of The Coach’s Compass: Navigating Tiered Coaching in a PLC at Work, a 2026 guidebook that presents the MTSS-C tiered coaching model and a four-quadrant framework—trust, goals, modeling, and resources—to support instructional coaches and collaborative teams.
