Jennifer Suh
Jennifer Suh is a professor of mathematics education in the School of Education at George Mason University, where she teaches mathematics methods courses in the Elementary Education Program and mathematics leadership courses in the Mathematics Specialist master’s and PhD programs. She directs the Center for Outreach in Mathematics Professional Learning and Educational Technology (COMPLETE), leading professional development focused on learning trajectory–based instruction, equity-centered teaching practices, and effective integration of technology in K–8 mathematics classrooms.
Her scholarship includes coauthoring Figuring Out Fluency – Addition and Subtraction With Fractions and Decimals: A Classroom Companion and Figuring Out Fluency – Multiplication and Division With Fractions and Decimals: A Classroom Companion in the Corwin Mathematics Series, as well as Proactive Mathematics Interventions, Grades 2–5: Priming for Success Through Engaging Tasks and Purposeful Design. She is also the coauthor of Modeling Mathematical Ideas: Developing Strategic Competence in Elementary and Middle School, and has served as principal investigator on multiple NSF-funded projects that immerse elementary teachers in mathematical modeling, culturally responsive mathematical modeling, and equitable technology integration in mathematics education.
