Jere Chang
Jere Chang is an award-winning educator, keynote speaker, author, and digital content creator based in the Atlanta area, with more than 20 years of classroom experience in K–12 education, including general and gifted education. She teaches gifted education at Drew Charter School in Atlanta, working with neurodivergent and asynchronous learners, and has built a large online following of several million across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook under the name Ms. Chang Gifted.
She is the author of Becoming the Teacher I Needed: Lessons in Radical Kindness and Resilience (Wiley/Jossey-Bass, 2026), a book that blends personal narrative with practical guidance to help educators address burnout, rediscover purpose, and cultivate radical kindness and resilience in their classrooms. In addition to her work as an author and classroom teacher, Chang is a sought-after speaker who has presented to audiences across the United States and internationally and has been invited to the White House and the U.S. Capitol as an educational advocate.
