Jessica Ivy
Jessica T. Ivy is a Thomas Ray Crowel Endowed Professor of STEM Education at Purdue University Northwest, where she focuses on the integration of technology in teaching and learning and on formal and informal mathematics, science, and STEM education. Her areas of expertise include mathematics teaching and learning, technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK), digital fabrication, and STEM teacher preparation. She holds a Ph.D. in Education (Secondary Education), an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction – Mathematics Education, and a BAEd in Mathematics Education, all from the University of Mississippi.
Ivy is a coauthor of Proactive Mathematics Intervention, Grades 6–8: Priming for Success Through Engaging Tasks and Purposeful Design, part of the Corwin Mathematics Series, which supports teachers in designing proactive Tier 2 and Tier 3 mathematics interventions for middle school students. She has previously served as a mathematics and STEM teacher educator and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics education and pedagogy.
