Jill Siler

Dr. Jill Siler is an education leader, speaker, and author of Thrive Through the Five: Practical Truths to Powerfully Lead through Challenging Times, first published in 2020. She spent nearly a decade as superintendent of Gunter ISD in Texas, serving in that role from 2012 to 2021 after earlier positions as a campus administrator and central office leader. She holds an Ed.D. and has been actively involved in statewide leadership efforts, including chairing the Future-Ready Superintendent Leadership Network Design Team and mentoring first-time superintendents through the Texas Association of School Administrators.

Since 2021, Siler has served as deputy executive director for professional learning at the Texas Association of School Administrators, where she designs and leads professional learning for current and aspiring school leaders. Known for her work helping educators navigate the most difficult seasons of leadership, she is a frequent keynote speaker at leadership conferences and academies across Texas, and she shares additional resources and writing for leaders through her website.
