Jimmy Casas

Jimmy Casas is a veteran educator, school leader, and leadership coach with more than 30 years in education, including 22 years as a school administrator and 14 years as principal of Bettendorf High School in Iowa. Under his leadership, Bettendorf High School was recognized multiple times as one of the best high schools in the United States by Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report, and Casas was named the 2012 Iowa Secondary Principal of the Year and a 2013 NASSP National Secondary Principal of the Year finalist. He is the CEO/President of J Casas & Associates, providing coaching and professional learning for educators, and serves as an adjunct professor at Drake University, teaching graduate courses in educational leadership.

Casas is the author or co-author of numerous influential books on school culture and leadership, including Culturize: Every Student. Every Day.
