Jody Houser

Jody Houser is an American comics writer known for work on licensed and adapted properties, including Stranger Things, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Orphan Black, and Faith. She earned a B.A. in English/creative writing from the University of Miami and an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College, where she completed a screenwriting thesis and received the Rod Parker Fellowship for Playwriting.

Houser began experimenting with webcomics in 2006 and created the webcomic Cupcake POW! in 2010. Her published comics include Faith for Valiant, Max Ride: Ultimate Flight and Agent May for Marvel, and Stranger Things: The Other Side, Stranger Things: SIX, and Stranger Things: Into the Fire for Dark Horse.
