Joe Sanfelippo

Dr. Joe Sanfelippo is a retired superintendent, author, and educational leader who served as superintendent of the Fall Creek School District in Wisconsin for 12 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education from St. Norbert College, master’s degrees in educational psychology and educational leadership, and a Ph.D. in leadership, learning, and service. During his tenure, Fall Creek was recognized twice as an Innovative District by the International Center for Leadership in Education, and Sanfelippo was named Education Dive’s National Superintendent of the Year in 2019.

Sanfelippo is the author or co-author of Lead from Where You Are: Building Intention, Connection and Direction in Our Schools, Hacking Leadership, The Power of Branding: Telling Your School’s Story, Lead From Who You Are, and other books on school leadership and culture.
