Jon Tait

Jon Tait is an English education leader, author, and keynote speaker with more than 25 years’ experience in teaching and school leadership. He has held senior roles including Deputy CEO and Director of School Improvement and currently serves as an Executive Director of Education at a multi-academy trust. He holds the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH) and the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL).

Tait’s published work covers classroom practice, educational research, school leadership, and parental engagement. His books include 100 Ideas for Engaging Learners, Succeeding as a Head of Year, Teaching Rebooted, Stepping Into Senior Leadership, and A Parent’s Guide to Effective Study Habits, published in 2025.
