Jonathan Eckert
Jonathan Eckert is the Lynda and Robert Copple Professor of Educational Leadership at Baylor University and the Executive Director of the Baylor Center for School Leadership. He earned his Ed.D. from Vanderbilt University and previously taught public school students for 12 years outside Chicago and Nashville; he also served as a U.S. Department of Education Teaching Ambassador Fellow in both the Bush and Obama administrations.
He is the author of _The Novice Advantage_, _Leading Together: Teachers and Principals Improving Student Outcomes_ (also listed as Teachers and Administrators Improving Student Outcomes), and _Just Teaching: Feedback, Engagement, and Well-Being for Each Student_. He also coauthored _Small Shifts, Meaningful Improvement: Collective Leadership Strategies for Schools and Districts_.
