Josh Funk

Josh Funk is a software engineer and children’s book author. His books include How to Code a Sandcastle, the Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast series, Dear Dragon, Pirasaurs!, The Dino Door, My Pet Feet, and Lost in the Library.

Funk has said he graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Computer Science, and his online author bio describes him as a software engineer who writes picture books. How to Code a Sandcastle was published in partnership with Girls Who Code and features Pearl and her robot Pascal using basic coding concepts such as sequences, loops, and conditionals.
