Judith Mendoza-Jiménez
Judith Mendoza-Jiménez is a first-generation U.S. immigrant, bilingual special educator, and educational leader dedicated to supporting diverse learners. After immigrating from Mexico at age 10, she earned advanced degrees in special education and educational leadership and progressed from special education teacher to assistant principal and then high school principal.
She currently serves as director of student services for Nogales Unified School District #1 in Arizona, where she leads the development of inclusive instructional and behavioral support systems. Mendoza-Jiménez is a coauthor of The Teaching Strategy Handbook: 200+ Solutions for Common Classroom Challenges, published by ISTE+ASCD.
