Judy Willis
Judy Willis, MD, MEd, is a board-certified neurologist and former classroom teacher whose work focuses on applying neuroscience to learning and teaching. She practiced neurology for 15 years before earning her teaching credential and Master of Education degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and then taught elementary and middle school for 10 years.
Willis studied at Williams College and earned her medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. Her books include Research-Based Strategies to Ignite Student Learning: Insights from a Neurologist/Classroom Teacher and How Your Child Learns Best, along with several other titles on brain-friendly and classroom learning strategies.
