Julia Fabris McBride

Julia Fabris McBride is the chief leadership development officer of the Kansas Leadership Center and a certified coach. She is co-author, with Ed O’Malley, of When Everyone Leads: How the Toughest Challenges Get Seen and Solved and also co-authored Teaching Leadership: Case-in-Point, Case Teaching, and Coaching.

Before joining the Kansas Leadership Center, she taught leadership and management at the University of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, the University of Massachusetts, and the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute. McBride graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University, holds a certificate in leadership from the University of Chicago’s Graham School of General Studies, and completed the Art and Practice of Leadership Development program at Harvard Kennedy School.
