Dr. Julia B. Lindsey, Ph.D., is a foundational literacy expert, consultant, and former elementary school teacher specializing in early reading instruction, decoding, and high‑quality foundational skills pedagogy. She has worked with teachers, district leaders, curriculum developers, and education organizations to translate reading research into practical classroom routines, including developing a framework for research‑tested, content‑rich decodable texts used widely in schools. While completing her doctoral studies at the University of Michigan, she collaborated with Boston Public Schools on a free decodable book program to support early literacy.
