Julie Kroener

Julie Kroener is a credentialed special educator and administrator in California and a coauthor of Your Students, My Students, Our Students: Rethinking Equitable and Inclusive Classrooms, published by ASCD in 2019. In the book, she joins Lee Ann Jung, Nancy Frey, and Douglas Fisher to outline practical approaches for creating more equitable and inclusive classrooms and rethinking traditional special education structures.

Kroener has served as chief of human resources and relations at Health Sciences High & Middle College, where her role includes coordinating support services for students with and without disabilities and collaborating with general educators, special educators, and families to ensure that students with disabilities are full members of their school and community.
