Julie Thiele
Julie Thiele is a coauthor of The Well-Rounded Math Student: Leveraging Math Practices to Build Next Generation Skills, a K–12 mathematics education resource that integrates the Standards for Mathematical Practice with the development of students’ social and emotional competencies. She contributes to this work alongside Sherri Martinie, Jessica Lane, Janet Stramel, and Jolene Goodheart Peterson.
Thiele is a faculty member at Wichita State University, where she serves in the School of Teaching and Learning and the Teacher Apprentice Program. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in mathematics education from Kansas State University, completed in 2016.
