Karen Worth
Karen Worth is a science educator and senior scientist at Education Development Center (EDC), where she worked on science curriculum development, professional development, and systemic reform. She also taught early childhood and elementary education at Wheelock College and served as a faculty member there for many years.
Her background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Radcliffe College and a Master of Science from Bank Street College of Education. Worth has coauthored science education materials including Worms, Shadows, and Whirlpools: Science in the Early Childhood Classroom, The Young Scientist Series teacher and trainer guides, and The Essentials of Science and Literacy.
