Karin Morrison
Karin Morrison is an educator and coauthor of Making Thinking Visible: How to Promote Engagement, Understanding, and Independence for All Learners (Jossey-Bass, 2011), written with Ron Ritchhart and Mark Church. The book, developed in connection with Harvard University’s Project Zero, introduces classroom “thinking routines” designed to deepen students’ understanding and make their thinking observable, and has been published in multiple languages, including Spanish and other translations.
Morrison is consistently cited in education literature as a collaborator in the Making Thinking Visible research and writing partnership with Ritchhart and Church, whose work focuses on thinking dispositions, visible thinking practices, and building cultures of thinking in K–12 classrooms.
