Kathy Perret

Kathy Perret is an instructional coaching trainer, virtual coach, and founder of Kathy Perret Consulting. A former classroom teacher and educational consultant, she has more than 30 years of experience supporting school leaders, instructional coaches, and teachers through professional learning. Her background includes work in literacy, English language learners, technology integration, and instructional coaching, as well as service as an adjunct professor.

Perret is the coauthor, with Jessica Johnson and Shira Leibowitz, of The Coach Approach to School Leadership: Leading Teachers to Higher Levels of Effectiveness (ASCD, 2017). She also coauthored Compassionate Coaching: How to Help Educators Navigate Barriers to Professional Growth with Kenny McKee (ASCD, 2021).
